Blue Spikemoss – Selaginella uncinata (Cutting)

Selaginella uncinata (Selaginellaceae), also known as Blue Spikemoss or Peacock Spikemoss, is a creeping lycophyte from southern China. Its feathery, fern-like fronds show a striking metallic blue-green iridescence that is strongest in shade and high humidity, making it a standout groundcover for closed terrariums, vivariums and paludariums.

You will receive one fresh cutting, 15–20 cm long. Cuttings root very easily: lay the stem flat on moist substrate or live moss, pin it down lightly, and keep humidity high. New roots form along the stem within a few weeks, and it soon spreads into a soft blue carpet.
