Fork Moss Dicranum sp.
Dicranum is a genus of mosses, also called wind-blown mosses or fork mosses. These mosses form in densely packed clumps. Stems may fork, but do not branch. In general, upright stems will be single but packed together. Dicranum is distributed globally.
15x15cm (filled a 300ml container)
All plants are sourced either from nurseries or from ethically sustainable sources.

Received this moss and it was extremely dry and falling apart. Even the greenish coloured parts were dry and dying. The whole lot was totally unusable. Extremely disappointed.
Hi Scott,
Sorry for the inconvenience.
Fork moss is always quite dry and loose when it’s packed like this, but that doesn’t mean it’s unhealthy or in poor condition. Please have a look at the first three photos—they show how it normally looks upon arrival. The last two photos show the same moss after it has been established and grown under good conditions.
I hope this helps, but please let me know if you have any other questions.
