HC 'Cuba' – Hemianthus callitrichoides 'Cuba'

Hemianthus callitrichoides Griseb. 'Cuba' (Linderniaceae), native to the Caribbean, is among the smallest carpeting plants used in aquascaping; its fine texture contrasts strongly with larger-leaved species.

Submerged, it is demanding and requires high light, CO₂ injection and a consistent nutrient supply to form a dense carpet. It can also be grown emersed in closed terrariums and vivariums.
