Sheet Moss Racopilum cuspidigerum

Racopilum cuspidigerum is a beautiful tropical moss known for its soft layered texture and vibrant deep green colour. Its feathery growth creates a miniature forest look, making it highly sought after for naturalistic terrariums, paludariums, and vivariums.

 This moss thrives in humid environments with gentle airflow and consistent moisture. In terrariums, it forms lush carpets over soil, wood, and stone, instantly creating an aged rainforest aesthetic. In paludariums, it adapts well to damp zones near waterfalls and streams where humidity remains high. For vivariums, especially dart frog setups, it provides natural shelter, moisture retention, and a soft surface for microfauna such as springtails and isopods.

Racopilum cuspidigerum prefers bright indirect light and stable humidity. With proper moisture and airflow, it gradually spreads into dense green mats that bring a mature rainforest atmosphere to any enclosure.
