Modernrium designs and builds vivariums, terrariums and paludariums tailored to create the perfect home for pets, or a beautiful natural feature for any living space.

• Vivariums: designed for reptiles, amphibians and invertebrates, with ideal conditions for growth and wellbeing
• Terrariums: ideal for plants and small animals such as insects
• Paludariums: perfect for species that need both land and water environments

Pre-built or custom

• Choose from a range of pre-built tanks
• Or have a tank custom-built to exact specifications, working closely with the team to meet the needs of your pets or plants

All terrariums are carefully designed, self-contained ecosystems supported by beneficial bacteria, requiring minimal care and maintenance. Optional terrarium lighting is available, with a discount when purchased together with a terrarium as a combo.

Important notes

• Contains live plants and moss, which should not stay in a parcel box for long. Please unpack promptly on delivery and follow the care instructions provided.
• Each terrarium is 100% handmade. As natural materials are used, plants, moss, rocks, driftwood and layout may vary slightly from the photos, while staying intricate, natural and true to the selected style.
• The number of plants may vary depending on the size and form of the plants, rocks and driftwood used.

Ready-made terrariums

• Only the Eco-Courier Series is available for Australia-wide delivery.
• All other ready-made terrariums are available for delivery within 50km of the Box Hill South (VIC) store or in-store collection at 886 Canterbury Road, Box Hill South VIC 3128.

Setup kits

• Shipped nationwide across Australia.
• Each kit includes ready-made hardscape (if any), all required materials (gravel, soil, plants, moss, etc.) and step-by-step instructions.

Please note: plants and moss cannot be shipped to Tasmania (TAS) or Western Australia (WA) due to biosecurity restrictions.
